Precious is a good movie. It filled me with happiness and sadness but it is a work of art. It showed human condition and struggle. Precious had alot of problems throughout the movie. She had two children at the age of sixteen, she had been repeatedly raped and abused by her mother, and she contracted HIV through her father raping her several times. Thee movie displayed minorities as a culture and obstacles they try and overcome every day. All Claurice "Precious" wanted to do was live an average teenage life and she wasn't able to. This film truly touched my heart.
